Language Soiree

Dozens of girls, from Year 7 through to the Sixth Form, took to the stage this week for an evening of language-inspired entertainment.
A Level linguists delivered comic sketches, poetry recitals and a Sartres-inspired playlet, while younger pupils performed French folk songs and Spanish poems, Mandarin verse and German rap, all with great confidence, enthusiasm and skill. Well done to everyone involved on their accomplished, linguistic performances – including a cameo role from Maple the school dog.
