Our Head of Physics is one of 276 voices singing out to support Women’s Aid with an online rendition of ‘You’ve Got a Friend’.
As part of the London City Voice choir, Ms Kamps recorded her part to Carole King’s song at home during lockdown. Along with 275 of her fellow choir members they created this video (see if you can spot her online) to raise money and awareness for Women’s Aid – a charity whose chatline has seen a dramatic increase in calls from women suffering from domestic abuse amid the pandemic.
Having smashed the initial target within the first few days, the choir now hope to raise £50,000 for the charity – you can donate here.
