County Champions

Congratulations to our U15 netball team who have won the Middlesex Schools Finals to be crowned county champions.

Our U15 squad played superb netball this week, beating Godolphin & Latymer, Notting Hill & Ealing, Lady Eleanor Holles and North London Collegiate, for an overall win on goal difference. In recent years, our squads have seen off strong competition to qualify for the finals on numerous occasions – but have never clinched the victory.  Congratulations to all players – Alma, Sophie, Katie, Sylvie, Olivia, Jemima, Giorgia, Mila, Elena and Laura – on their well-earned triumph.

Our younger teams have also had a brilliant season, with both our U12 and U13 teams securing impressive wins against a number of London rivals at the Middlesex county competition.  Our Year 7 players were just one point shy of a semi-final place, showing excellent potential.  Meanwhile, our Year 8 team dominated the semis to secure a spot in the finals, where they put up a great fight to come away with a second place finish. Both teams also progressed to the semi-finals of the national Sisters n Sport plate competition this term, narrowly missing out on places in the finals – a great end to the season, and exciting times ahead for two more talented, young teams.
