Design Alumnae
Former Design & Technology students have returned to inspire the next generation of engineers and creators.
Three alumnae have been supporting our current GCSE and A Level students this term. At our annual social/study evening for Year 11 and Sixth Form DT students, Chehara Dharmawardene (class of 2022) shared her experiences of studying at The Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College; as a Sixth Former, Chehara was awarded the top prize in the RSA Pupil Design Awards in 2021 for her project aiming to challenge systemic racism. Eva Sprecher (class of 2011), who went on to study Psychology at Oxford before gaining a teaching degree, came back to support Upper Sixth DT students with their coursework projects relating to behavioural design issues, and all A Levels students enjoyed the opportunity to quiz Olivia Aslett (class of 2017) who has recently completed her design degree at the Glasgow School of Art.
Find out what some of our other former pupils have been up to in our latest alumnae newsletter.
