Alumnae Reunion Lunch
Last Sunday, we welcomed over 180 alumnae and honorary alumnae back to South Hampstead for our eighth Annual Reunion Lunch.
This year, we held specific reunion groups for classes of the 1950s, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993, 2003 and 2013, as well as hosting a wonderful group of honorary alumnae. Gathering so many former pupils and staff together is always a delight and this year was no exception, thanks to the alumnae choir, speeches from our Headmistress and Chair of Governors, tours of the school, and an uplifting rendition of ‘Hymn of Light’.
Between reconnecting with old friends and reminiscing over school memories, we launched our Opening Doors Cookbook. Comprising of 150 recipes, submitted by staff, pupils, former staff and alumnae, the community cookbook is a wonderful way to support bursaries at South Hampstead, with all funds contributing to the Opening Doors bursary campaign. To order a copy, please donate online here (suggested minimum £20) – all contributions are welcome and will make a real difference. Once you have made a donation, please email alumnae@shhs.gdst.net to receive your copy as a thank you. Current parents can donate and order via ParentPay.
Thank you to all those who attended and made our eighth reunion lunch such a truly joyful occasion.
