STEM enthusiasts in Year 9 have joined forces with girls from two local state schools to address big questions in Science & Technology.
The girls have worked together in mixed teams this term, both online and in person, with pupils from Hasmonean School and Henrietta Barnett School. Together, they tackled topics such as how pain works, how infectious diseases spread and the impact of hand hygiene. On the final day, the teams presented their research and experimental work in the Burgess Room at South Hampstead – the culmination of their hard work exploring beyond the curriculum, as they developed their communication and team-working skills.
