Sports For All

Our annual Sports for All week encourages pupils to try out a range of different activities.

Through our Mehr Licht co-curricular programme, girls can join dozens of different sports clubs before, during and after school, including pickleball, tag rugby and yoga alongside our core sports.  The PE Department also offers pupils the opportunity to play plenty of new activities as part of a fun, annual Sports for All week. This year, games lessons featured boules, boxing, orienteering and Aussie rules, whilst lunchtime sessions included tchoukball, foot rounders, taekwondo and some very animated games of House dodgeball – a fantastic way to unwind after the exam period.

During the week, we were thrilled to unveil a new padel court at the sports ground. At the grand opening of the Scott Padel Court, former Headmistress Mrs Jean Scott cut the ribbon to the new facility, named in her honour. Our pupils are excited to have the opportunity to get involved in the fast, fun and relatively new sport, akin to both squash and tennis.
