London School of the Year

South Hampstead is a finalist in the ‘London School of the Year’ category of the 2024 Independent Schools of the Year Awards.

The annual awards celebrate the very best in education and student experience in UK independent schools. Now in their seventh year, the awards attract hundreds of entries from schools across the country for a range of categories. In 2022, South Hampstead was crowned the UK’s Independent Girls’ School of the Year. The London School of the Year category is only in its second year and aims to celebrate leading schools who make the most of their location and give back to the wider metropolitan community.  South Hampstead is one of six finalists, alongside another GDST school, Notting Hill & Ealing High School. This year, a record number of entries were received, so it is a wonderful tribute to the efforts of the whole school community to be recognised as one of the top school’s in the capital.
