Top Destinations

Upper Sixth students have received early offers from a variety of world-leading destinations as they pursue diverse, future pathways beyond South Hampstead.

Whilst most of our students apply to Russell Group universities each year, many seek out other top-ranking destinations for their chosen academic disciplines, both in the UK and abroad. This year’s cohort have applied for courses such as Astrophysics, Environmental Geoscience, International Relations, Mechanical Engineering, PPE and Scandinavian Studies at a similarly varied array of destinations, testament to their individual aspirations. So far, students have received offers from some of the world’s leading institutions, including IE Madrid, McGill and Yale; UK university offers to date include Durham, Edinburgh, St Andrews and UCL; 40% of our students interviewed by Oxbridge received offers to read subjects ranging from Classics, English and Geography to Biochemistry, Medicine and Natural Sciences.

With the higher education landscape ever-changing, our Sixth Form team ensures all our students are armed with the necessary information, supporting them to make the most of an empowering stage of their educational journey. As part of our Sixth Form Futures Programme, we focus on encouraging every student to be open-minded and to consider a range of options to align with their personal aspirations, helping to ensure that the vast majority secure their first-choice destination on A Level results day each year. We wish the Class of 2025 the very best of luck as they approach the final furlong of their Sixth Form studies and start to prepare for their exciting next chapters.
