Our Mehr Licht Community brings together the many strands of our annual programme of events - open to parents, pupils, alumnae and friends of the school. Whether joining us for a talk or singing at a concert, we look forward to welcoming you to South Hampstead.

Coming up

Raising Resilient Girls
Thursday 23rd January

Join us for this Speaker Series panel to hear experts share their views on a range of salient issues including adolescent friendships, neurodiversity, eating issues, academic and emotional resilience, mental health, and parenting more broadly.

The evening will be chaired by the alumna journalist and broadcaster Jenny Kleeman, who will be joined by fellow alumna Zeinab Chaudhary, Dr Saadia Arshad, Tanya Manchanda and Dr Sophie Nesbitt.

This event is open to all.

FOSH Quiz Night
Wednesday 12th March

Make sure you save the date and start putting together your team for the ever popular FOSH Quiz night.  We look forward to welcoming parents, alumnae and staff teams and tables for an evening of fun and fundraising for school projects.

Aspirational Futures Fair
Thursday 13th March

We will be hosting an Aspirational Futures Fair presenting a diverse range of career and higher education pathways to pupils from South Hampstead and numerous local schools. There will be a range of talks that will motivate and coach the girls to reach for and achieve the highest of their abilities and a careers fair showcasing stalls from a variety of companies and organisations.

Ladies Lunch (NEW)

A ladies lunch for senior Alumnae from the Classes of 1960 and before. Join us in the Burgess Room for conversation with friends, archive presentations and a delicious seated lunch.

Opening Doors Dinner
Saturday 15th November 2025

Save the date and start thinking about who should be on your table for the ever popular Opening Doors Bursary Dinner.

We are seeking volunteers to help us organise this event, put together tables and of course to sponsor this memorable evening where all proceeds go directly to funding opportunities for bright young women at the school.

A programme of activities for current staff: running club, meditation, netball, yoga, Pilates and more. Open to teaching and support staff at both the Junior and Senior Schools.

 

South Hampstead Chorale
Monday Evenings
