Academic Scholars’ Trip

Pupils enjoyed a cultural day at the Design Museum as part of the Academic Scholars’ Programme.
Academic Scholars from Year 7 through to the Sixth Form spent an edifying day together at the Design Museum in Kensington, visiting various exhibits and attending a workshop on the history of seating design, exploring the impact of social, cultural and behavioural changes on its evolution.
As well as attending an annual cultural trip and dinner, South Hampstead’s Academic Scholars also contribute to our scholars’ journals, the Beacon and Pilotlight, present their ideas at symposia, and contribute to the academic life of the school.
