Class of 2023 Farewell

This year’s Upper Sixth leavers enjoyed a special valedictory ceremony to celebrate their time at South Hampstead.

Students, parents and staff were greeted by a cardboard cutout of a very special guest on the red carpet, before enjoying a rooftop drinks reception. At the prizegiving ceremony in Waterlow Hall, Mrs Bingham congratulated the students on their achievements and, quoting Einstein, reminded them of the value of lifelong learning: “The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” Tutors presents farewell gifts and prizes before parents departed, leaving staff and students to join the dancefloor with tunes from none other than Judge Jules.

Director of Sixth Form, Mr White, added: “The Class of 2023 have shown such ambition, enthusiasm and a real sense of fun – they will forever be excellent ambassadors for South Hampstead. We wish them the very best of luck on results day and Mehr Licht for whatever adventures lie ahead.”
