Co-curricular Fun
Undeterred by the pandemic, we continue to be a busy, buzzing school with a lot going on.
In the first few weeks back in school after lockdown, our co-curricular provision has ramped up again. A diverse array of clubs continue to form an important cornerstone of life at South Hampstead, allowing girls to discover new interests and develop new skills.
In the Junior School this term, girls in Year 3 upwards can participate in activities before, during and after school: cross country and yoga, strategy and debating, computing and pottery, choirs and Mandarin.
In the Senior School, there are over 150 different clubs each week and girls are enjoying having the chance to get involved in every aspect of school life again – academic and sporting, the creative arts and social action, music and enterprise. Many older students initiate and run clubs themselves, from Pride to Space Society, and Crime Club to Feminist Society. Whether pupils want to try life-drawing or robotics, competitive Physics or dance, and join Eco Committee or Lego club, there is plenty of scope for every girl to find her niche and to thrive beyond the classroom.
