Photography Skills

Girls have been developing their photography skills in the dark room as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
As well as having access to high quality DSLR cameras, professional grade lighting kits and Adobe software, the Art Department also has cameras dating back to as early as 1901. Before lockdown, Year 9 students worked with Mr Hunter on a weekly basis to develop their skills for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. They explored a range of processes in the dark room, such as Chemigrams and Photograms, and have researched and experimented with analogue film and digital photography – skills they have continued to develop in lockdown.
