Economics Essay Finalists
Three A Level Economics students have been shortlisted in a global essay competition.
The humanities-focused competition, run by Northeastern University London (formerly New College of the Humanities), invites essay entries from across a broad range of topics. Lower Sixth Economics students, Mariah, Annabel and Nicola, all submitted essays exploring the implications of the economic sanctions imposed on Russia.
The competition aims to encourage ‘talented and intellectually curious students who show passion and academic potential in the humanities and social sciences’ from across the world, attracting thousands of entries each year. The finalists, who follow the success of our students last year, have been invited to a celebration event next month.
