Engineering Scholars

Two of our Year 11 students have been awarded prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarships.

Sydney and Astor follow in the footsteps of many other budding engineers and South Hampstead Arkwright Scholars. The respected national awards aim to inspire and nurture students to become future engineers and leaders. Each year, following a rigorous selection process, scholarships are awarded to high-calibre 16 year old students. The scholarships support students through their A Level years with a variety of enrichment opportunities as well as funding to assist with technical studies and wider experience of engineering. Every scholar is sponsored – by commercial companies, universities, government organisations or personal donors – providing a range of support, from valuable hands-on experience to personal mentoring and career planning. Congratulations to both our students on their success this year.
