Enterprise Speaker Series
Our Head Girl’s entrepreneurship series continued as she interviewed the trailblazing designer Solange Azagury-Partridge.
For her inaugural event last term, Arya invited the founder of Addison Lee, who spoke about the value of self-belief and positivity as keys to his success; she subsequently spoke to Lola’s Cupcake co-founder, Victoria Jossel Nurtman, who described how her South Hampstead school days helped to foster her ambitious mindset. For this term’s event, Arya interviewed Solange Azagury-Partridge, the creator of Hotlips By Solange, whose jewellery is featured in the Louvre and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
During the interview, Arya found out more about Solange’s origin story of the Hotlips brand as well as getting a glimpse into the day-to-day life of an entrepreneur, including what time she goes to bed each night. Solange shared her belief in the power of patience and explained the value of staying true to your vision, while being open to new opportunities. “Success is not instantaneous; it is a process.” As Arya and her deputies hand over to a new Head Girl Team next term, they leave a fantastic legacy, having shown ambition, creativity and dynamism throughout their tenure; we look forward to charting their continued success.
