A Level Artist Mirra has been long-listed in the Doncaster Art Fair Mental Health Competition 2021.
The annual competition invites artists to submits works of art as a response to mental health, selecting the best entries for an online exhibition. Mirra’s vibrant piece, titled Emotion Concoction, was made during lockdown using oil pastels, acrylic and watercolours.
“This piece reminds me that I’m not broken… It reminds me that even though a person can hit the lowest point in their life, that they are still valid and there is colour in their life.”
