Fieldwork Fun
12 March 2019
GCSE Geographers enjoyed a fieldwork trip to Surrey earlier this month.
Year 10 students went to Juniper Hall to undertake some urban and river fieldwork, in preparation for the Paper 3 component of their exams. The girls measured the River Tillingbourne, assessing how it changed as it went downstream. Some were very enthusiastic at seeing a thalweg and meander in real life. Students also visited Leatherhead to see the impacts of regeneration.
