Friends Reunited

We are pleased that former students have been able to rekindle school friendships through our alumnae network.

Michelle (class of 1972) recently contacted us to ask if South Hampstead was in touch with her best friend, Loretta.  “Loretta was my best friend from my primary school, St. Mary’s on Fitzjohn’s Avenue. She joined South Hampstead but was in the year above me and we lost touch.”  Loretta was thrilled to hear from Michelle again after so many years. They have spoken on the phone, exchanged school photos and plan to meet up very soon.

Elizabeth (class of 1959) now lives in Canada and asked if we were in contact with her school friend, Patricia. “I’ve thought about her many times over the past 50 years, but it was seeing a musician on television with the same surname that created a strong urge to get in touch.” Since we put them in touch, Patricia and Elizabeth are now in regular contact.
