Front Line Support
The school community has risen to the challenges of Covid-19 with great creativity and compassion.
Our Design & Technology teachers were back in the studios this week, using our laser cutters to produce vital personal protective equipment for front line health workers. In the first two days of term, 100 visors were produced for distribution to local pharmacies, GPs and nearby care homes that our pupils usually visit via the school’s Pensioners’ Link Programme.
We are grateful to everyone in the school community who has offered to help in so many ways, including those who volunteered to support our key workers’ provision, the girls who have become pen pals with our most vulnerable alumnae, and those who have donated supplies of other protective equipment to help the national effort.
