Futures Week
Lower Sixth students have spent a week off-timetable exploring options for life after South Hampstead.
This week, instead of normal lessons, students undertook a valuable week of activities and talks relating to their future plans. This included sessions on the UCAS, Oxbridge and international university processes, talks on student finance and gap years, workshops on public speaking and CV writing, and a day dedicated to the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
One student commented: “It was such an informative week, from which we gained incredibly useful tools for the future.”
They ended the week with a picnic and a game of rounders on Hampstead Heath, to celebrate the end of the half term as well as the hard work they have completed over the course of the week.
