GCSE Results

Congratulations to our Year 11 students who picked up an excellent set of GCSE results today.

Despite the grey skies overhead on results day morning, our pupils shone in their GCSEs again this year: over 57% of all grades were 9s; 82% were 8/9s, and over 93% were 7/8/9s.

Three quarters of the year group achieved a clean sweep of top grades (7/8/9), over 40% of students were awarded all 8/9s, and 17% of the cohort were awarded ten or more grade 9s.

Students celebrated their well-earned success at school this morning and thanked their teachers for their support.  Mrs Paul added: “Many congratulations to our Year 11 cohort on a fantastic set of GCSE results! I am so proud of everything that they have achieved; their results are testament to the hard work and dedication of all our pupils and staff. I am really looking forward to welcoming our students into the Lower Sixth very soon and I am sure they are going to soar in their future studies.”
