Giving Back
A South Hampstead education aims to open hearts as well as minds. This week, pupils spent their lunchtimes learning about various small charities and supporting their work.
Thanks to our partnership with Give Together, a not-for-profit who implement dynamic social action programmes, we welcomed homeless charity, Sapphire Independent Housing, and Norwood, who help to transform the lives of vulnerable children and adults with learning disabilities. During their lunch breaks this week, girls have had the chance to learn about the plights of others, making a positive impact by delivering heart-warming messages to those in need.
Charities co-ordinator, Ms Aneja, commented: “Supporting local charities plays a crucial role in shaping sensitive and empathic leaders. We are proud to be able to give our pupils so many opportunities to interact with the world beyond South Hampstead – people whose lives are very different from many of theirs.”
