Gymnastics Showcase

Our gymnasts and cheer squad staged a spectacular display of agility, strength and co-ordination in the sports hall.

The inaugural gymnastics showcase this term featured spectacular performances from pupils in Years 7 to 11. The show opened with an Alice in Wonderland-themed floor routine, choreographed by Amber, Sophie and Sylvie in Year 10. The action-packed evening included skillful solos, duets, trios, and an uplifting performance by our cheer squad, as well as a graceful, rhythmic hoop routine by Aliyah in Year 9.  The show ended with a trampet and vault routine, displaying some gravity-defying somersaults and handsprings. Well done to everyone who was involved in such an impressive event.

One of the performers, Year 9 Gymnastics Scholar Stella,  recently placed 5th at the London Regional Finals and been selected as a travelling reserve for the Women’s Artistic National Finals – we wish her the best of luck next month! Earlier this term, our cheer team, Infinity, came 4th at the London Dance & Cheer Academy competition –  a brilliant performance from the whole team.
