Linguistics Awards

Well done to our GCSE students who have received awards in the UK Linguistics Olympiad.
In our first year of participating, all six Year 11 students who entered were awarded certificates – well done to Nandana, Emily, Auhona and Alina on achieving Bronze and Pico and Anika on their Silver, awarded to only the top 15% of entrants nationally. This national competition tests participants’ ability to decode information about various unusual languages and solve complex linguistic data problems.
