Living Book Competition

Year 7 classrooms were filled with drama, dance and song as pupils brought literature to life at the annual Living Book Competition.
Ahead of World Book Day, classrooms were imaginatively transformed into fictional realms as girls delivered energetically choreographed routines, spectacular singing and wonderfully scripted performances. The judges were transported from The Jungle Book to Hogwarts, via a hospital ward from The Midnight Gang and onto a pig-judging contest from Charlotte’s Web.
Well done to all the girls for such ingenious displays of creativity with a special mention to Form 7D who won the top prize for their lively interpretation of a scene from E B White’s classic, Charlotte’s Web.
