Living Books

On World Book Day, Year 7 pupils brought works of literature to life as part of our annual ‘living book’ celebrations.
Each form group interpreted a different book, bringing their chosen story to life. Classrooms were transformed to elaborate stage sets, as pupils collaborated to devise and perform creatively scripted excerpts with great enthusiasm. The judges were transported to different fictional realms including The Gruffalo and The World’s Worst Teachers. Well done to all our pupils on working together to stage such wonderful performances, with special congratulations to the winners, 7G, for their memorable recreation of scenes from The Wizard of Oz.
