Maths Challengers
26 November 2020
Sixth Form Mathematicians have excelled in a national Maths challenge that stretches students well beyond the curriculum.
The annual Senior Maths Challenge involves problem-solving and encourages students to think outside the box. Congratulations to Saina in the Lower Sixth, who achieved an almost perfect score in the challenge this year; she is one of 1000 high-performing students through to the first round of the British Mathematical Olympiad. A number of Upper Sixth students achieved the threshold to be invited to the Kangaroo Paper follow-on round; the UK Mathematics Trust typically selects 6000 students nationally to take part – well done to Natasha, Lucia, Clotilde and Anika.
