Netball Champions

Our netballers have had a fantastic season, with medals in national competitions and the title of county champions for our U15 squad!

In recent years, our netball squads have qualified for the county finals on numerous occasions. This year, both our U14 and U16 squads secured third place in the finals, whilst our U15 squad were crowned Middlesex champions! Our Year 10 players followed in the footsteps of a former U15 team who won our first county title in 2022; this year, they beat stiff competition, including Godolphin & Latymer, St Paul’s Girls’, Notting Hill & Ealing, Lady Eleanor Holles and North London Collegiate to clinch the victory.  The following week, the U15s faced more formidable opposition – this time as one of the final four teams in the Sisters n Sport (SnS) national shield competition, played at Loughborough University, where they narrowly lost to Edgbaston Girls to take the silver medal. Congratulations to Alina, Amelia, Bethany, Gaia, Isabel, Miller, Molly, Poppy, Rose, and Sayuri on their hard work and achievements.

Our U13 team also made the final four of the SnS national competition, playing at Loughborough University for the bowl, and had a great tournament at Condover Hall earlier this term, where they placed third amongst all GDST schools. The Senior Netball team – comprising of players from Year 10 and the Sixth Form – competed at Bromley High School in the GDST Rally up against 21 strong sides; after some closely contested matches, they qualified for the cup competition, securing a commendable fifth place finish. Well done to all our players on a great season.
