Pupils from Year 7 to the Sixth Form contributed to a wonderful evening of short stories and poetry in the theatre.
Parents and staff gathered to hear readings of short stories and poems written by some of our most dedicated creative writers, selected from our creative writing clubs, Scheherazade and Senior Creative Writing, as well as from English classes. Pieces ranged from concrete poetry to dystopian fiction, sestina to pastiche. Most impressively, the students uniformly embodied their words through poised, confident and passionate delivery, winning the admiration and applause of the audience. Well done to everyone involved.
