Renowned Writers – Vicky Zimmerman
Every month, as we celebrate the breadth of our alumnae community, we highlight former pupils who have become published authors.
Vicky Zimmerman (Class of 1992) studied English at Sussex University, then went on to work in advertising, at the BBC and then as a professional food taster.
She is now a full-time writer, based in London. Her first novel, Pear Shaped, was published in 2012 and she has since written three more novels under the name Stella Newman. She has been published in 5 languages and her latest book, The Woman who Wanted More, is the first to be published under her own name and will be released in America this summer.
Her books are contemporary fiction about relationships, food, and careers – about creating your own fulfilment outside of romantic relationships.
