Scholars’ Trip
Our Academic Scholars enjoyed a cultural day out to Greenwich as part of the Academic Scholars’ Programme.
The inaugural trip finally took place this week, after previous plans were postponed due to the pandemic. Academic Scholars from Year 7 through to the Sixth Form spent an enriching day visiting the National Maritime Museum, the Queen’s House and Greenwich Park before lunch. As well as attending an annual cultural trip and dinner with other scholars (pandemics permitting), South Hampstead’s Academic Scholars also contribute to our scholars’ journals, the Beacon and Pilotlight, present their ideas at symposia, and contribute to the academic life of the school.
Academic Scholarships are available for entry at 11+ and the Sixth Form – find out more.
