Ski Squad Medals

Congratulations to our ski squad, who picked up a team gold and team bronze in their first national schools race since lockdown.

Our skiers have been training at the snow dome and on dry slopes since March, with their hard work paying dividends at last Sunday’s National Schools Open Race at Welwyn dry slope. Thanks to some fantastic individual performances, our Junior Squad came away with first place, while our Senior Team secured the third spot on the podium. Congratulations to all our athletes, with special mentions to Evie in Year 6 (gold) and Audrey in Year 5 (bronze) in the U12 stubby slalom; Sylvia in Year 4 (gold), Cecilia in Year 4 (silver) and Amelie in Year 3 (bronze) in the U10 stubby slalom; and Alice in Year 7 (bronze) in the U14 full gate slalom.
