Sports Day

An action-packed summer of sport ended at Willesden athletics track, with top performances on track and field.

From record-breaking jumps to spirited staff relay racers, the whole school community showed tremendous athleticism and enthusiasm, amassing points for their House.  A special mention to the Year 8 Walker 4 x 100m relay team (Dia, Izzy, Nancy and Anya) who ran an impressive time of 1.00.41; the Lower Sixth students who demonstrated surprising speed whilst dressed in colourful costumes (including one as a fleet-footed penguin); our teachers and support staff whose determination and team spirit in the final race prompted the loudest of cheers of the day; and to Potter for winning the Edbrooke Cup this year.
