Sports Day successes

We ended the term with a very sunny Sports Day on one of the hottest days of the year.

With many pupils sporting their new House T-shirts (as well as sunshades), there was a great sense of camaraderie, albeit with an underlying competitiveness evident – particularly in the staff relay finale! Girls displayed tremendous energy and grit in the blazing sunshine, with many records smashed. Congratulations to Walker on breaking Potter’s winning streak to take the Edbrooke Cup this year. Special mentions go to all those who broke school records despite the soaring temperatures: an incredible 11 new times and distances were set, plus one high jump height equalled.
