STEM Ambassadors

Year 8 STEM ambassadors have set up an initiative to inspire the school community to engage with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
Earlier this term, a group of Year 8 pupils participated in the GDST STEM day at Imperial College, an action-packed day of talks and activities. Inspired by what they heard, a number of girls have taken the initiative to create a new STEM page on Firefly, our pupil platform, and a monthly challenge for the whole school to take part in. The new blog contains information about prominent female scientists, a planet of the month, key STEM events and a series of amazing facts. Well done to the girls for their creativity in helping to champion the Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
