STEM Medallists

Once again, our pupils have excelled in national Maths and Science challenges designed to stretch students well beyond the curriculum.

Lower Sixth Physicists were recently awarded 10 medals and commendations in the Senior Challenge, with Eleanor and Maisie both achieving Gold medals. Earlier this term, A Level Chemistry students achieved an impressive haul of 23 medals, including three Golds (Yazmin, Clotilde and Amelie) and seven Silvers, including two in the Lower Sixth (Iris and Katie). Congratulations to all our Science students – especially those still in the Lower Sixth – for rising to the challenge.

In the UK Mathematics Trust Intermediate Challenge, pupils achieved 24 bronze, 16 silver and 5 gold awards; well done to Emilie and Aadya in Year 10, and Alexia, Cat and Lillian in Year 11 on their gold medals, and to our ‘best in school’ Olivia (Year 11) and best in Year 10, Riva.
