Summer Festival of Music

Musicians of all ages delivered the most uplifting finale to the summer term – a wonderful send off to a very memorable academic year.

Unable to perform their usual spectacular summer concerts in the Waterlow Hall this term, our musicians worked hard to replicate the experience from their homes.

Hours of rehearsing, playing, recording and editing audio and video culminated in a phenomenal, 11-day Summer Festival of Music, shared with the school community on Firefly: 32 uplifting performances from our very youngest recorder players to our talented Senior Music Scholars.

Many congratulations to all the girls who took part and to the Music Department and visiting music staff for orchestrating such impressive music-making despite the challenges of lockdown.
