Tech Collaboration

Year 6 have been working with fellow GDST pupils to design environmentally-friendly vehicles during lockdown.

Girls collaborated on the STEM-based project with pupils from Portsmouth and Putney High Schools. Their challenge was to launch a new company then design a vehicle for air, water or land. The 6-week project encouraged both offline and online working, as the girls tackled the technical challenge of designing sustainable modes of transport for the future. Working with girls from sister schools in the Girls’ Day School Trust network, the project culminated with impressive presentations on their first day back in school today.
