The Orbital

Two Sixth Form students have launched a website to share their passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

Iris is studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and History and plans to read Biochemistry at university; Saachi is studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Spanish and plans to study Medicine.  Together, they decided to develop an online platform to encourage more pupils to engage with STEM subjects and explore beyond the curriculum.

We wanted to make science accessible to more pupils, especially during the pandemic.

The Orbital went live this week, featuring articles such as nylon’s place in the fashion revolution, the composition of tears, and stunning imagery of science experiments and nature, with contributions submitted by pupils across the Senior School.
