The Penguin Magazine
The summer edition of the school magazine, The Penguin, has been published in time for the holidays.
The Sixth Form editing committee has galvanised pupils from across the school to contribute a variety of articles, photography and illustrations. The latest issue features reviews of local businesses to debates on sustainable fashion, backstage photoshoots to book reviews, and quizzes to staff interviews – pick up your copy in reception or read it online.
The school magazine is produced entirely by the pupils; it is published each term and is named after the quirky William Sweetlove sculptures dotted around the building – iconic blue and gold penguins that aim to raise awareness about consumption, recycling and environmentalism.
The Penguin School Magazine is one of the many student led lunchtime clubs; it is open to all pupils who are invited to submit contributions and get involved with its design and production.
