Towards 150 Garden Opening

We were delighted to welcome our Towards 150 supporters for a thank you reception as we marked the formal opening of our new indoor garden.

Our guests had all supported our Towards 150 initiatives over the last six years and came from across the community, including current and former governors, alumnae, former Headmistresses and staff.  It was a special moment for the current Head, Mrs Anna Paul, to recognise their contribution and mark the completion of our new seventh floor oasis. Our indoor garden was funded entirely thanks to philanthropy and we were delighted that the Chief Executive of the GDST, Cheryl Giovannoni, joined us to cut the ribbon and thank our donors. The new garden project has also inspired our Eco Committee to extend our green spaces; they are now working to create more biophilic areas for teaching and wellbeing with plans to develop our roof terrace.

If you would like to learn more about our pupils’ vision for the roof terrace, or any of our other Towards 150 initiatives, please contact our Director of Philanthropy (s.whitworth@shhs.gdst.net) for further details or visit the Support Us section of our website.
