Upper Sixth Leavers

We wished this year’s leavers the best of luck as they embarked on study leave ahead of their A Levels.

During their final week in school, our Class of 2024 embraced eclectic daily fancy dress themes – from ‘dress as your degree’ to ‘wear a white lie’ – as they bid emotional farewells to their teachers. On their last day together, they donned South Hampstead’s iconic yellow shirts to attend a special leavers’ assembly from Ms Brass, Mrs Paul, Mr White and Mr Willett, ending with a moving rendition of the school song. The leavers then staged a sardonic ‘retrospective’ in front of the whole school, a time-honoured South Hampstead tradition replete with wry impersonations and video clips, before their celebratory lunch and yearbook-signing in a sunny Oakwood garden.

Our Director of Sixth Form, Mr White, commented: “Over the past two years, this cohort has combined a great sense of purpose and fun. I am incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the young adults they have become. We wish them all the best for their forthcoming exams and look forward to celebrating their achievements together next month. We very much hope our Class of 2024 will return as alumnae in the years to come, to share their good humour, positive energy and wisdom.”
