Woodland Welcome

Our new Sixth Form induction programme begins with a weekend camping out under the stars in Epping Forest.

Each year,  we welcome new students into the Sixth Form to join the girls moving up from the Senior School.  Our recently expanded induction programme helps to ensure our students develop key skills – from public speaking to harnessing the internet as a research tool – as well as preparing them to manage the step up from GCSEs to A Levels.

Students start the term with a fun weekend away in Epping Forest together: a chance to get to know each other through outdoor challenges, team-building games (including some memorable interpretations of scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and the requisite toasted marshmallows and singing round the campfire.
