Year 11 End of Era

Despite the curve ball of cancelled GCSEs, Year 11 students adapted enthusiastically to a different summer term.

The girls embraced the initial uncertainty with patience and grit, swiftly embarking on A Level introductory courses with great enthusiasm, whether developing academic research posters in material Physics or exploring undiscovered periods of History.

To finish the year, students had a celebration assembly online with the whole year group and form tutors. Their teachers from Year 11 sent messages or recorded videos of themselves, with the main sentiment being a huge well done for all of their hard work and a wish for them to have a fantastic summer.  Friends gave moving speeches for the few students leaving South Hampstead.

Ms Russo, Head of Year, commented: “It has been an absolute pleasure working with the girls for two years, and I am so proud of everything they have achieved. I am excited to see what great things they continue to do in Sixth Form; I hope that they can use the summer to rest, recuperate and look to the future.”
